Steve has been married to his beautiful wife Pam for 47 years, and they claim ownership of 2 fantastic children; Megan and Matt, and 4 grandchildren; Liam, Lincoln, Leland, and Luca, in that order. Steve and Pam attend Hosanna Church in Lakeville, and enjoy spending as much time as possible with their grandsons. They enjoy spending quality time in a warmer climate during the Winter, and it seems every year there are a few more "old friends" for them to visit in Florida. They also enjoy our weekly walk around Cleary Lake in Prior Lake, and usually follow it up with a twist Dairy Queen cone.
Steve grew up in West Bloomington, and was a member of the first graduating class of Jefferson Senior High 1971. After high school he spent 2 years in the US Navy, where he learned how to chip paint with a pneumatic air gun, and of course prime with what was then known as "red lead", and then paint with a lovely shade of battleship gray. After his stint in southeast Asia, he attended Hennepin Technical Center in Eden Prairie to learn the printing trade. He spent the next 25 years in the printing industry, selling to many of the local Twin City ad agencies, and design groups. He obtained his Real Estate license in 2001, and started working part time - which was a fairly standard practice in the Real Estate industry.
In 2006, Steve started working with what is now one of the largest property management companies in the Twin Cities. He spent the next 5 years learning everything he could about the property management business, and in 2011 he and his son opened the doors to Renters Outlet. It's been one of the most difficult things he's ever done, and most recently he has worked really hard to build the very best team and now believes the company is ready to handle anything that comes our way!
